Now lets see what the DT have been creating to inspire you

Doreen
I have altered a door hanger, I started by putting some light moddeling paste through a stencil then after it dried gave a coat of Gesso. I then gave a coat of blue pastel to the background and coloured the holly and baubles, Last of all I silver embossed a snowflake stamp with Versamark and edged all the edges with Black Soot Distress ink.xxx

Yvonne - I've used cling film, Versamark and Panpastels to make this background.  Pop over to my blog for more information on how I achieved this look

Claire C   I've had lots of Christmassy fun altering this wooden ornament that I got for 50p in the poundshop sale last year, what a bargain!! I stencilled the brick over the letters with Maimeri Light Modelling Paste and then once it was dry coloured the bricks with Burnt Sienna and a little Raw Umber PanPastel. I've coloured the Dutch Doobadoo fence and lanterns with more PanPastels (applying versamark ink first to get more depth of colour). The Dutch Doobadoo snowflakes were coloured with PanPastel Course White medium for a gorgeous shimmer. The 'Christmas  Trees' are actually Dutch Doobadoo Laser Art Ferns, coloured with PanPastels and turned upside down before being decorated with glitter glue. I added the stamped images and then to finish off I created some more snow along the bottom of the scene and on the letters by applying Maimeri Light Modelling Paste and sprinkling on lots of crushed glass glitter. For all the details and more pics pop over to my blog

You can find links to all the products I've used here:

Terry I had fun making a few items for the inspiration week....I altered two wrappings from the PanPastels and thought I would make a Candle holder out of them.....I started out with Gesso and played with the Stars Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo, worked on it with the Light Modelling Paste and colored the whole wrapper with the Red PanPastel and on top te White COARSE Pearlescent Pan. To finish my project I placed some Lace and Santa in the middle. I kept it simple but it was a lot of fun making this project. The second Christmas Candle Holder was made the same way, only difference is that it has a piece of lace with stars on it and a Vintage girly image. To top the Canle projects I painted it with Iridescent Paste.

Good morning and welcome to our new challenge and this time we've got a nice easy one for you as our theme is

Christmas
We've got some fabby crafting goodies lined up for our lucky winner thanks to those lovely people at

and of course the Top 3 honours are up for grabs too!!Its a great opportunity to finish one of those last minute Christmas projects and play along. You don't have to use our products to enter but of course we love it when you do!! You've got plenty of time to enter as this challenge will run until 3rd January so that our lovely DT can have a well earned rest over Christmas

Now let's see what the DT have been busy making this week.......

Claire C I think I'm addicted to colouring with my PanPastels now, I've coloured this cute image with my PanPastels and then created the background by masking the hills and dusting on a little PanPastel. I added the sky and then stamped the trees in versamark before applying White Pearl PanPastel Medium for some shimmer. To finish off i've added some snow with a white Graph'It Shake Pen

I have made a large tag today. I first made my background by blending Raw Umber andPhthalo Blue PanPastels, then stamped my image.....I used an eraser inside the image to remove some of the PanPastel so I could colour with Promarkers.....The lampost is a Die-cut.xxx

Tracy - It`s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around my home with Primitive Salt Dough Baubles ready to hang on my tree tonight.
So easy to make and fun for all the family using Gesso as a base and 4 Pan Pastels to colour with a little Glassy Gel to mix them with.
More details over on my blog HERE if you have a moment or two. xoxoxo

Yvonne - I decided to make a xmas project without using red and green - I know black isn't normally a colour used for xmas but I hope you think it works.  Please pop over to my blog for more information.

Terry I thought I would alter a Christmas Bag to put under the Christmas Tree. I had fun making it. The background is made with Christmas papers. Topped with White PanPastel and White Coarse Pearlescent PanPastel. I played with the Dutch Doobadoo Stars Stencil with Light Modelling Paste. I placed the cute image on a coaster and added some roses on it and at the bottom some stars with ribbon. The background of the Bag is decorated with some lace, a Wooden Christmas sentiment on a coaster and to finish some white coarse

Wow stunning makes everyone!!
Don't forget to pop back next week for lots more inspiration and of course the winners of our last challenge too!!
